MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
General-purpose electrode for structural steelwork, workshop and maintenance welding. Easily operated in positional welding, including vertically-down. Good gap-bridging. Possible to use equally well both with AC and DC. Smooth arc, well suited for tack-welding due to it's easy arc striking and restriking properties. Welds are smooth, slightly concave and blending into base metal without undercutting. Slag is self-releasing in most cases. Suitable for welding on galvanized, primer painted and sligthly rusted components.

Very smooth welds blending into base metal without undercuts. Slag is completely self-releasing. Used in all types of mild steelworks, maintenance and repair welds, where ease of operation and good appearance of weld is required.

MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
General-purpose electrode for all position except vertical-down. Preferably used for welding light-gauge sheet metal. In fillet welds, electrode can be welded with tip lightly dragging on the work. Has excellent bead appearence, easy arc striking and restriking, easy slag removal, silent and balanced arc.

ESR 14
MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
High speed welding electrode for all position welding except vertical-down. Due to it's iron powder addition in covering, particularly suited for the welding of horizontal fillets and filling grooves with higher speed. Possible to use equally well both with AC and DC. High current carrying capacity, low spatter. Quite, stable arc characteristics with fine and fast droplet metal transfer. Very easy arc striking and restriking. Very smooth welds blending into base metal without undercuts. Slag is completely self-releasing. Used in mild steel fabrication, sheet metal and ornamental iron works on poor fitup joints.

ESR 30
MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
Rutile type heavy coated electrode. Suitable for welding thin Armco irons and low carbon steels. Especially used in fabrication and repair welds of molten zinc bath tanks made of Armco iron and very low carbon steels. Weld metal ensures high crack resistance against the effect of molten zinc. Possible to use equally well both with AC and DC.

ESR 35
MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
Rutile-basic type coated electrode, particularly suitable for welding root passes and positional welding in fabrication of pipes, boilers and tanks. It is likewise suited for depositing backing-up beads in submerged arc welding. Owing to its low Si-content, weld metal is suited for subsequent galvanizing and enamelling.

Heavy coated basic electrode producing low tensile strenght weld metal with excellent toughness values. It is suitable for welding restrained structural members and large weld cross sections. Suitable for unalloyed and low alloy steels with high carbon content with low weldability. Also suitable for buffer layer applications before hardfacing and for welding of cast irons with high preheat.

Multi-purpose electrode for assembly work, workshop and maintenance welding, approved for rail joint welding. Smooth and clean welds, merging into base metal without undercuts. Welds are of X-ray quality.

MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
Basic electrode for producing tough and crack-free welded joints even on steels having a carbon content of up to 0.4 . Weld metal recovery amounts to approx. 120 . Good operating characteristics, also in root pass and positional welding. Weld metal exhibits good toughness properties down to -60°C. Suitable to use in welding of dynamically loaded machinery, steel construction, bridge, pipe and pipe line construction, tank, pressure vessel and shipbuilding. Electrode is suitable for depositing buffer layers on higher carbon steels. Welds are of X-ray quality.

ESB 52
MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
Electrode producing tough and crack-free welded joints, also suite for welding steels having a carbon content of up to 0,6 . The weld metal has a very low hydrogen content and is resistant to ageing. Electrode approved for rail joint welding. Very good gap bridging properties. Owing to its double covering (up to 3,2 mm), electrode features a stable and concentrated arc and is therefore well-suited to positional welding. Suitable to use in welding of dynamically loaded machinery, steel construction, bridge, pipe and pipe line construction, tank, pressure vessel and shipbuilding. Welds are of X-ray quality.

ESH 160 R

Heavy coated, rutile type high efficiency electrode having a weld metal recovery of appx. 165. Is prefered for economically filling of large weld sections and long fillets. Produces very smooth, concave and clean welds, merging into base metal without undercuts. Suitable for welding prepainted and galvanized plates. Easy arc striking and restriking. Slag is self-releasing in most cases.

High-efficiency electrode having a weld metal recovery of approx. 165, preferably employed for welding fillets. Weld metal is very tough and free of cracks. ESH 180 R
MILD STEELS - STICK ELECTRODES (SMAW)
Heavy coated, rutile type high-efficiency electrode having a weld metal recovery of approx. 180 . It is suited to produce long fillet welds and economically filling-up large weld sections. The core wire diameters, deviating from standart diameter, are so calculated as to produce definite throat thickness (a=3 to 6 mm). Relatively low current intensities and short burn-off times. Exhibits good welding properties.
